What Happened.........

This one didn’t go as expected......

Due to a “calendar malfunction” our good friend Paul Mann, (who was involved in a busy international schedule), did not arrive.  Nor did the wines.  But our organizer, the unflappable Georgette Willoughby, took command.

She dispatched a sortie, consisting of Bob Bilenchi and Frank Carson (armed only with a credit card), to obtain an eclectic assortment of wines, which they very quickly accomplished.  The wines were from Chile, Germany, Hungary and Italy.  Italy won.

Everyone had a good fun and social evening with the wines and the gruyere, manchego and havarti cheeses.

Georgette’s chocolate and plain biscotti and coffee provided a very nice finish.

Paul Mann was most apologetic and generously offered to treat us to the Argentine wine tasting at a future date.
