We were once again blessed with a wonderful late summer sunny, temperate Michigan afternoon. While the Beer Butt Chickens roasted evenly under Margaret's watchful eye, Ken guided AWS enthusiasts across the shimmering lake waters in their Pontoon craft.
As the last guided group embarked on land, the juicy, tender chicken with a hint of yeast and malt imparted from the beer was ready to eat. This main course was matched with members' carefully prepared favorite salads, tapas, and tempting, delicious desserts.
Members enjoyed the fare with California Chardonnay, Beaujolais, Arcadia Ales made in Battle Creek and Frank's home made Amber Ale. A good time was had by all.
